How to print from your iPhone to a Canon printer
Most Canon printers, including the popular PIXMA inkjets, support AirPrint — so your iPhone prints to them over Wi-Fi with no driver. Printer App locates the Canon printer and gives you full print controls.
Print to your Canon printer
- Join the Canon printer to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone (from the printer's menu or the Canon PRINT app).
- Open Printer App and choose what to print.
- Select your Canon printer from the list.
- Choose copies, paper size, and layout, then tap Print.
If your Canon printer isn't AirPrint
For older Canon models without AirPrint, Canon's own Canon PRINT app (for PIXMA and SELPHY) can print over Wi-Fi. Check Apple's AirPrint list to see whether your exact model is supported.
FAQ
- Does my Canon PIXMA work with iPhone?
- Most Canon PIXMA printers support AirPrint and work with iPhone over Wi-Fi with no app. If yours doesn't, the Canon PRINT app can print to it instead.
- Why does my Canon printer say no AirPrint printers found?
- The iPhone can't see the Canon printer on the network — check they share the same Wi-Fi, wake the printer, and make sure the router isn't isolating devices.
