AirPrint not working? How to fix it
When AirPrint stops working it's almost always a network hiccup, not your phone. Run through these checks in order — most people are printing again within a couple of minutes.
Fixes to try in order
- Confirm your iPhone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network — watch for separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network names.
- Wake the printer and make sure it has no error, no paper jam, and ink or toner loaded.
- Turn the printer off and on, and restart your Wi-Fi router.
- On your iPhone, toggle Wi-Fi off and back on so it rejoins the network.
- Move the printer closer to the router, or reduce interference, if the signal is weak.
- Update the printer's firmware from its screen or the maker's app.
Still stuck?
- Some routers have AP isolation or a guest network that blocks devices from seeing each other — turn it off or move both devices to your main network.
- A VPN or custom DNS on your iPhone can hide local devices; disable it while printing.
- If only one app can't print, restart that app; if nothing can print, the issue is the printer or network.

- Why does my iPhone say 'No AirPrint printers found'?
- Your iPhone can't see the printer on the network. Usually the two are on different Wi-Fi networks, the printer is asleep or off, or the router is isolating devices from each other.
- Why is my print job stuck?
- Check the printer for a paper jam, an out-of-paper or low-ink warning, or an open cover. Clearing the error usually releases the queue; if not, cancel the job and try again.
