How to print an Excel spreadsheet from your iPhone

Spreadsheets are tricky to print because wide sheets spill across pages. Setting the print area and exporting to PDF first gives you a predictable result with Printer App.

Print an Excel spreadsheet

  1. In the Excel app, set the print area or fit-to-page option so the columns you need fit the paper.
  2. Export the sheet as a PDF, or save the file to Files.
  3. Open Printer App and choose the PDF.
  4. Pick landscape if the sheet is wide, set paper size, and tap Print.
