How to print a boarding pass from your iPhone

Most airlines let you fly with the pass on your phone, but a paper backup is handy. If you have the boarding pass as a PDF or image, Printer App prints it in seconds.

Print your boarding pass

  1. Save the boarding pass PDF (from the airline's email or app) to Files, or take a screenshot of the pass.
  2. Open Printer App and choose the PDF or photo.
  3. Set paper size to Letter or A4 and print at actual size so the barcode scans.
  4. Select your printer and tap Print.

FAQ

Will the barcode still scan if I print it?
Yes, as long as you print at actual size (100%, not fit-to-page) on plain white paper so the barcode stays sharp and high-contrast.
