How to print a PDF from your iPhone
PDFs are the most common thing people print from a phone — tickets, forms, statements, boarding passes. Printer App opens PDFs from Files or other apps and gives you the print controls iOS doesn't show by itself.
Print a PDF
- Open Printer App and choose Files, then pick your PDF (from On My iPhone, iCloud Drive, or a linked service).
- Set the page range if you only need certain pages.
- Choose copies, paper size, and single- or double-sided.
- Optionally set two or more pages per sheet to save paper.
- Select your printer and tap Print.
FAQ
- Can I print only some pages of a PDF?
- Yes. Set a page range before printing — for example 2–5 — and only those pages are sent to the printer.
- How do I print a PDF someone sent me by email?
- Save the attachment to Files, then open it in Printer App. Or use the share sheet from Mail and send it to Printer App directly.
