How to print a shipping label from your iPhone
Shipping labels must print at their exact size so the barcode scans. Printer App prints the label PDF at actual size on plain paper or a label sheet.
Print a shipping label
- Save the carrier's label PDF to Files.
- Open Printer App and choose the PDF.
- Print at actual size (100%, not fit-to-page) so the barcode stays scannable.
- Select your printer and tap Print, then tape the label to the parcel.
FAQ
- Do I need label paper, or is plain paper okay?
- Plain paper works fine — print the label, cut it out, and tape it on. Label sheets just save the cutting and taping.
- Why won't my shipping barcode scan?
- It was probably scaled or printed faintly. Print at actual size on white paper, and make sure ink or toner isn't low so the bars stay crisp.
