How to adjust print quality on your iPhone
Most print-quality problems come down to a few settings and the printer itself. Printer App gives you control over size, scaling, and orientation so your pages come out crisp.
Get a cleaner print
- Match the paper size in the app to the paper actually in the tray.
- Print photos at fit or fill deliberately — filling crops, fitting keeps the whole image.
- Avoid enlarging a small image too much; it will look soft no matter the printer.
- For text, black-and-white is sharpest and saves color ink.
- Choose the printer's higher-quality mode for photos, and check ink or toner levels.
FAQ
- Why do my prints look faint or streaky?
- That's usually low ink or toner, or clogged nozzles on an inkjet. Run the printer's cleaning cycle and check supply levels; the app can't fix a hardware supply issue.
