How to print photos from your iPhone
Printing a photo from your phone should be quick and look good. Printer App lets you pick photos from your library, choose how they sit on the paper, and send them to any AirPrint printer.
Print a photo
- Open Printer App and choose Photos.
- Select one or more photos from your library.
- Pick the paper size (for example 4×6 for prints or A4/Letter for a full page).
- Choose how the photo fits the page — fit to keep the whole image, or fill to cover the paper.
- Select your printer and tap Print.

- How do I print a photo without white borders?
- Choose the fill option so the photo covers the whole sheet, and use a paper size that matches the photo's shape (like 4×6). Borderless output also depends on your printer supporting borderless printing.
- Why does my photo look cut off?
- Filling the page crops the edges when the photo and paper have different shapes. Switch to fit to keep the entire image, which adds a small border instead.
