How to check printer ink levels from your iPhone
Ink and toner levels come from the printer itself, so they're shown by the printer's own app rather than by AirPrint. Here's where to look before you print.
Check your ink or toner
- Open your printer maker's app — for example HP Smart, Canon PRINT, Epson Smart Panel, or Brother Mobile Connect.
- Find the supplies or ink-level screen for your printer.
- Check the printer's own display, which also shows levels on many models.
- Once you've confirmed you have enough, print your document with Printer App.
